Biblical Inspiration

Philippians 4:8-9 calls believers to a life of reflection on the true, beautiful, and good (“whatever is true…is lovely…is admirable…think about such things”); and to a life of acting on knowledge of these things (“whatever you have learned or received or heard…put into practice”).  The motivation for pursing the true, beautiful, and good in thought and deed is a deeper experience of the presence of God (“And the God of peace will be with you”).

The purpose of this blog is to reflect on (“muse”) noble, lovely, pure things and to work out (“motion”) some of their implications on life in the early 21st-century.  Much of my writing will focus on education and child development (I am a high school science teacher), but will also venture into general culture and politics.

Keep in mind: The more comments you post in response the more rich and valuble this blog will be!
